DOUBLE KNIT (DANISH)

On tuesday the 7th of September , Thelma Steimann will be offering a knitting course in Danish, guiding through the most common techniques in double knitting. Participants will be shown the basis of how to cast on, changing colours and playing with different printing techniques.

Basic knowledge in knitting will be recommended, but is not a requirement.

The aim for the course is for participants to understand the technique of double knitting, and gain the ability to work independently with the technique on their own. The different elements will be taught by knitting for a table cloth (approxemently size 35 x 35 cm). The yarn required for the project is included with the price and participant will be able to leave with the amount of yarn required to finish their project on their own if needed.
